Growing up, I wanted to be in every industry: botany, paleontology, medicine, law, public speaking, and more. Clearly, this is impossible "in real life"- but I realized that through storytelling, I could be in any and every universe at once. I used to put up sheets of paper on my walls around my room in the case that an idea struck me in the middle of the night, in a dream, in between fervent emotional breakdowns, in sickness, in respite. Storytelling has been my greatest passion since I was 6 years old. I'm glad I am finally able to bring stories to life, to you, through my work.
I'm inspired by history, culture, digital technology, and other forms of art and expression- but also by moments in my own life. This is what spurred me to pursue filmmaking, to get my Master's degree in communication studies with a focus in happiness and digital communication, and what spurs me continually to make art, to write stories, to love the world enough to create new ones.
I currently work as a freelance filmmaker and communications coordinator, as well as a multimedia artist. On the side, I continue writing my own stories hoping that one day, they will speak to you, too.
